Below we take a look at the 5 destination facilities with the largest tonnage growth for Q1 and Q2 2022 compared with the same periods in 2021. ECDC Environmental ECDC Environmental, owned by Republic Services, had the largest YOY growth. Reporting receiving more than nearly 50,000 tons in '22 for the same two quarters in '21. Really impressive growth numbers for this facility, Q2 volumes are higher than pre-pandemic volumes. US Ecology Winnie US Ecology Winnie, also owned by Republic Services, has the second largest tonnage growth bringing in more than 26,000 more tons in '22 versus '21. Winnie has had tough new competition in recent years but looks to be regaining its market share. Chemical Waste Management, Kettleman City CWM, Kettleman City comes in at number 3 for YOY growth, with '22 volumes more than 25,000 tons more than in '21. Kettleman City had a strong Q2 close to volumes pre-pandemic. Let's hope this is a sign of volumes returning to pre-covid levels. Waelz Sustainable Products, LLC Waelz Sustainable Products, a Heritage joint venture, is a newcomer to destination facilities in 2022 with first loads reported in e-Manifest in January '22. The facility recycles K061 electric arc furnace (EAF) dust from steel mills. The facility has brought in nearly 25,000 tons of waste in the first two quarters in '22. Lonestar Ecology Lonestar Ecology, a Circon Environmental company, comes in at number 5 with volumes in '22 20,000 tons greater than in '21. Circon has done a great job in integrating, streamlining and merging its many acquisitions. Consolidation from other acquired destination facilities in the Houston market to Lonestar Ecology and organic growth are the reasons for this increase.
